Who we are

Righead Motors is a garage offering vehicle servicing, diagnostics and repairs. From routine servicing and battery checks to brakes, clutches, timing belts and electrical faults, we take care of the work that keeps cars safe and reliable on the road.

If something doesn’t feel right, a warning light has come on, or your car is simply due some attention, get in touch. We’ll talk through what your vehicle needs and the next steps.

Inspection and repair of brakes, including pads, discs and related parts, so your car stops as it should.

Timing belts and chains

Replacement of timing belts and chains, an important job that helps protect your engine from serious damage.

Electrical fault finding

Tracing electrical problems, from lights and switches that won’t work to wiring and charging faults.

Battery checks and replacement

Testing your battery’s condition, and replacing it if it’s no longer holding its charge.

Clutches

Looking into clutch problems such as slipping, juddering, a heavy pedal or difficulty changing gear, and carrying out repairs.

Exhaust repairs

Repairs for exhausts that are blowing, rattling, louder than usual or damaged.

MOT preparation

Checking your vehicle ahead of its MOT and repairing issues we find, to help it get ready for the test. We don’t carry out MOT tests: the test itself is done at an approved MOT test centre.
